There is 9 tapes in at a time. We usually rotate when we run out of tapes, unless we figure something else out that will work.

I checked real well for spyware, with a-spy and there are no clues in the event viewer. We are trying to avoid doing a reload, but that might very well be what we need to do. If I dont see any other responses by Monday that work, I think we will reload. -CJC

Just to add to the excitement, I installed a wireless NIC, and I get the same problem. I disabled the onboard NIC, and just told it to use the wireless and I get the same problem. No IE or Firefox, it says connecting to site xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and then it goes to page cannot be displayed.

Here's an update. The computer is now here at my office, and I am using just a regular DSL, nothing fancy. Got all the Windows Updates, and Office Updates. Rebooted, Internet works fine for about ten minutes, then quits, both in IE and Firefox. I can do nslookup, ping, ftp, e-mail etc. and that...

Nope. Just regular cable/dsl modem, and dsl connection.

Nope. FTP works fine, email, IM etc. Even remotely accessing our other network in Denver, works through Windows Explorer.
