No, these are files I saved to my hard drive. For example, if you save an e-mail from Hotmail, the mail comes in two parts....an e-mail and a folder containing various Hotmail files. These are not on my main hard drive, but stored on an external hard drive with no OS on it.

Yes, I checked the Recycle Bin, but of course it was not there, as I had not deleted the file, I accidentaly overwrote it with an earlier version of the same file. Would System Restore also restore data? I thought that was just for corrupted Windows system files ???

Thanks...but I'm afraid that didn't help. No files turned up. I'm sure the data is still on the hard drive. The file that overwrote it had the same identical text at the top, it is just the 200+ words that I added at the bottom of the home page that I need to retrieve, if at all possible.

It is easy to do this. With one IE screen already on your desktop, just click on the blue "e" icon in your taskbar or on your desktop again, and another IE screen comes up. You will then have two separate Internet Explorer "pages."

Have you installed the printer software on your client computer? With Windows 98, that is necessary to use whatever printer you need, even if it is installed on a server or another computer. Spaces do not matter.
