So I just ran the Migration Tool on an IP Office R9.1 and BOOM! As soon as the file was created, All my phones say Wrong Set Type. I even uninstalled the R10 Manager and reinstalled R9.1 and restored from a backup from a couple days ago, no dice ... guess I'm heading to the client site to...
You have to check the Secondary Dial Tone box in the ARS table, not on the trunks themselves... BOOM goes the dialtone!

Always default everything to G711 ULAW and remove the rest of the codecs from the default list unless there are issues. That's always been my rule of thumb...

I've had to replace around 3 out of 10 C110 modules... Avaya just replaces them knowing the issue. They either run great or fail after a few months.

If you're using an actual server or PC as the file server make sure TFTP Server option is turned on in Manager. In R8.1 Manager it is off by default.

tlpeter, yes I saw that they upgraded too. I'm saying after the upgrade the "Please Wait" at random times on the phones seems to have gone away as well. All good news...

UPDATE: So far so good. After the update to R8.1.52 the voicemail is still running (Approx 36 hours later). I think that did it. I haven't heard of the 9508 phones saying "Please Wait" either, so fingers crossed...

Has anyone seen this issue yet? I now have it on 2 IP Office systems. Both brand new installs IP500 V2 running R8.1.43 with the same maintenance releace of UCM upgrade. At random times, about every day though, the users start getting a busy signal when accessing voicemail. I log into the C110...
Can anyone recommend a UK BP? I know I can blindly pick and choose from the locator, but word of mouth recommendations are always nice :)
