Does anyone know of a program that will allow the user to choose the size of of a window by percent, Like IE does. I have several programs that if I could choose the per cent of screen size I could down size them and not have to scroll.
This sounds familiar to me. We had an issue with McAfee version 4.51 causing this issue when printing. We had to have McAfee exclude C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe from scanning.
My boss Had Office 2003 and upgraded to Office 2007. In Excel she used the Data > Forms feature to enter data but can't find it in Excel 2007. Does anyone know how this works in 2007?
I have a client running Win Server 2000. I noticed that available disc space is diminishing. I found in the C:\winnt folder the file advpack.log that is increasing in leaps and bounds, a little over 2meg in the 3 hours, while I was there. I have searched every where I could think of for...
What about fan and equipment noise. I use headphones to block all of the noise. I work alone in a locked room, with concrete walls, no windows and no radio reception. If I turn up the volume on a CD player loud enough to hear it, the people in the hall can hear it too. By the way I do...
I was a MS supporter for years. Even Grandma can surf the net thanks to MS. Windows was great. Unfortunatly, with all of the security issues, Grandma is spending a fortune trying to keep her computer running. Yes, MS is a big target but there will always be someone trying to tear them down...
The DJ890c has an "EconoFast mode" that is the equivalent of "draft" mode for the earlier HP Deskjet printers. Draft mode is intended for printing fast and inexpensive output, at the expense of high print quality. This can be found in the printer properties. I cannot give you the exact...
My two cents:
As a government employee, I am faced everyday with the assumption that I/we are overpaid and under worked. I have to tell you this is not the case. This is not to say that there isn't a piece of dead wood here or there. I (and most of my coworkers), took pay cuts to come...
We have now run multiple spyware checkers and a full virus scan. Other than a couple of questionable cookies, we have not found anything. Any more ideas?????
This did not resolve the issue. We ran the command for each profile, some worked a couple of times the others did not work at all. Even the Administrator accout is broken again.

I gave it a shot and it seems to work for the administrator account. I did not do a lot of testing but so far so good. When I logged in as one of the users the issue returned. Do I need to run this for every user?
Recently I prep’d a new Win IP system for a user on the network. During the install, shortly after installing SP2, I discovered that My Computer had stopped working. On further examination I found that My Network Places, Control Panel, the Run Line and the search function had also stopped...
I read books on my Tungsten T2 using the Palm Reader. I have found that the University of Virginia e-book library http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/ebooks/ebooklist.html has an extensive list of classics and all are free.
What I did personally was to sync my Palm v with my old software and then did a sync to my new T2. This put all of my data on the T2. Once both Palms held my data I upgraded my computer and did another sync. All worked very smoothly.
