    911 ANALOG CAMA

[indent]PSAP answers but doesn't receive any Number, Name, or Address from our 911 calls. 81C 25.47, Trunk is on an NT8D14 Universal trunk card. We have Conf/TDS cards (NT8D17. 1. Does the Conf/TDS (NT8D17) card send MF over the CAMA trunk or do we need a special MF Card? 2. In the ESA Data...

    station number identification.

We have a Fluke Smart-Pro, Model D9912 with two analog Meridian switch numbers hooked up to it. You can call it and it tells you with voice what number you are calling from. You can connect it to the Meridian Switch also for call trace.

    Blocked Calls

Not really sure what was going on. Odd that two phone numbers coming from the same place were treated differently. I changed the DSEL to VOD which corrected the incoming call problem from those particular numbers but it caused a problem on the outgoing calls. I guess putting in an extra digit...

    Blocked Calls

I have a Meridian-1, Opt 81C, Release 25.47. Installed Two T1’s (regular DTI’s not PRI’s) to feed a Norstar system in another Building. I set up a DSC 9624430 to route calls to the T1’s. All outgoing and most incoming calls work fine. Some calls coming from outside the Meridian-1 Switch...

    Meridian 1 Lines to Norstar

Thanks for the inputs. I will try the FTR ISP 75. Also I don't know what Line side T1's are? I'll try to find some info on them, and if feasible I will definitely try them. What equipment & programming is needed for Line side T1's??? This is a great help because we are getting a lot of...

    Meridian 1 Lines to Norstar

I have a Meridian 1, Opt 81C, and Release 25.47. The Meridian supplies regular analog dial lines to the Norstar System. The Norstar System has an Auto Attendant which answers the calls. The dial lines going to the Norstar sometimes won’t release and the Meridian puts them into Lockout. I...

    T1 Norstar from Meridian 1

Strange, but found by changing the "DSEL" to VCE in the Meridian-1's RDB corrected the dial out problem on the Norstar. That dial out problem was also strange, they could dial "1" "2" or "3" before dialing the number they wanted, and it worked fine (they could dial out). Thanks for...

    T1 Norstar from Meridian 1

I have a Norstar receiving 2-T1's (48 Channels) from a Meridian-1 Opt 81C. Both sides set up D4, AMI. The Norstar can receive calls but can't make outgoing calls. When a Norstar set tries to make an outgoing call across the T1 trunks, you get dial tone ok but when you dial the first digit you...

    T1 Meridian 1 to Norstar

I have a Meridian 1 Opt 81c connecting to a Norstar over a T1. Both sides set up D4 AMI. The Norstar can receive calls but can't call out. When trying to make a call from a Norstar set you do get the dial tone from the Meridian 1 but after dialing the first digit you get a fast busy. The...

Receive "UNEQ" when doing TN stat in LD 20

Sounds like the phones are not programmed. get your Software Input/Output Guide (Administration). Look at LD-10 for directions on installing analog sets. Look at LD-11 for directions on installing digital sets.

Phantom digits inserted in a PRI

The TGAR of the sets I was calling from is 2. I remember the PNI being 1 in the RDB.

Phantom digits inserted in a PRI

That sure was it. Thank you very much, I don't think I could have found that in the book. I thought the tcos was only one digit and didn't interfer with the dialed digits. I couldn't delete the digits with DMI but the Cisco could to make a call go thru. Now we don't have to worry about it.

Phantom digits inserted in a PRI

I have an 81C connected to a Cisco 2851 using a T1 PRI. I'm sending 96240XX DN's for the Cisco to use. I set up DSC 96240 so that all 96240XX numbers are routed to this PRI. The problem is when you dial 96240XX, three digits are inserted in front of the number. when I call from an outside...
