Cannot connect to Nortel 81C 2

I am trying to telnet into my PBX- procomm plus shows the connection, however, it does not connect and I get the same thing trying to telnet through Windows. The computer shows it it sending the request, but the PBX is not receiving??

Telnet is not an option. Rlogin or depending on the release ssh.

Try changing to 9600 BAUD

I did thank you, however, nothing seems to be working. There has to be some kind of loose connection to the PBX.

Telnet is not an option to get into the PBX via the ethernet connection. You need to use something like PuTTY and use rlogin or ssh. You must also have PTY ports built on the PBX

FYI I did resolve the problem-- I connected my laptop with Procomm Plus to J25 on the PBX- direct connect and did a ld 37 stat tty and had to enable tty's that were disabled. Login is working fine now from everywhere.
