preloadNetThing and gotoNetMovie please help

(OP)
I am new to using Director and have made a dcr file that is on a server and in that movie, I want to click a button and go to another dcr movie. I don't fully understand the preloadNetThing or gotoNetMovie and where I put these scripts. My site is http://dezine29.webjump.com. Is this where I tell it to go with gotoNetMovie from one that is already there playing? Where do I put the preloadNetThing in the score? Can someone help out this unbelievably stupid person who just wants to have a site for fun and learning.

RE: preloadNetThing and gotoNetMovie please help

put the preloadnetthing some time before the button is pressed, somewhere at the start in a frame script.
eg on first frame

on exitframe
preloadnetthing(URL)
end

for the gotoNetMovie just give it the URL eg gotoNetMovie("http://dezine29.webjump.com/my.dcr";)

RE: preloadNetThing and gotoNetMovie please help

First off what good is a DCR file, unless all your visitors have director. I would think you would want to export it to shockwave formatt.
