Help with layering

Hello, I am making a webpage with a director file in it, using adobe Dreamweaver

The page can be seen on

http://www.modern-english.co.uk/dev/allamericanrejects/index

The "addthis" Widget at the bottom right, go's under the Director area, rather than over it.

I have tried using z-index's to rectify the problem but it seems to have no effect.

Anyone know how to make this work ?
