Upgrade an IPO Small Office in London from Leeds, I'll go with the majority.
Cheers.

RE: Remote Upgrade. Yes or No?

Provided the data connection is ok you should not have a problem (& if it is not ok the file will not transfer)

But make absolutly certain the Validate tick box is ticked otherwise you are certain for a dead system.

I have upgraded my Home SOE over a dialup ISDN conection on many occasions without trouble (But I have an understanding customer if it fails )

RE: Remote Upgrade. Yes or No?

One other point, Just remember that the posters saying "Go for It" will not have to go & fix it if it goes wrong.

I would still say that a Validated Upgrade (V2.1 upwards) should work without problems, or at least if it fails it should not be terminal.

I have to upgrade, there is an issue with CLI on alog trunks (cheers IPGuru)and the Leeds site is on 2.1.31
By the way the upgrade is from 2.1.27 to 2.1.31.

Oh we have a solution: Get in your car ;)

RE: Remote Upgrade. Yes or No?

I always use validated upgrades and it has never broke unless youre trying it with the x.99 builds, they don't work with a validated upgrade.

Done, kicked its remote ass.

RE: Remote Upgrade. Yes or No?
