Worked on a customer's machine this past weekend. They said it was a 1600+ system, ECS K7SEM board with generic 128 meg PC133 memory. No real problem with the system, but noticed that when the BIOS was set to 133/133 the system booted and showed as a 2000+ processor. When set to 100/133, showed as a 1250 Mhz processor. Was set to the 100/133 setting so left it there.
Just curious if anyone else ran into this situation.
There are no other settings other than the memory/bus speed settings, i.e. individual bus increments or PCI OC. The test continues...
