Thanks. That made me laugh.
So, to end this off, and to put a gentler spin on the valid comments Skip made, we really do welcome people, but this site is "policed" (but that is not really the correct term) to try and weed out leeches (people who just take), or trolls (people who are just plain annoying). We try to make it truly a place for professionals. That word can be argued - and has been! - but it comes down to:
1. reasonable and professional language. Sorry texters, but truncated Twittery usage ("ur", etc. etc. etc.) will actually hinder getting good responses.
2. consideration and appreciation of the considerable effort and work "we" give as volunteers. "We" are not getting paid to help or assist people. It is done because we want to help and assist people.
Assumptions, or a sense of entitlement, will not help. People who demand answers, or a full code solution, either rudely, or by expressing a sense of entitlement, are dumped ruthlessly from here. I am not suggesting Skip was trying to be ruthless, far from it - he is a sweetie actually (sorry Skip, it was impossible to resist) - he was just trying to let you know some of the ways to help you use this site better.
We all like appreciation. There, that is it in a nutshell.
Except in Skip's case, where a nutshell is not....hmmmmmm....big enough? Small enough? Wide enough? Punny enough?
