We have ran into a strange problem. We have a workgroup that consists of 3Win Xp Pro machines and 1 win2000 pro machine. The windows 2000 acts as a file server that everyone shares data on. Everyone logs in without passwords
Recently one of the xp machines was prompted for a password to logon to the win 2000 Pro machine. The other 2 xp machines could logon without password just as they always had.
Under users, the box was not checked to require other users to connect to use a password. I checked this box then everyone had to use a password. I went back and unchecked it, but still everyone is required to use a password.
Does anyone know what gives?
TIA
