I have a website and domain name that were transfered from one Webhost to another.
The domain is propagated and you can open the webpages from the internet... but not from my computer. I am able to surf the internet the only domain that do not open is this particular one.
My problem I think is that when I ping that website from my computer the results are the IP address from the old server. How could I clear this old IP that is linked to my domain name in my computer?

Try:

Click Start >> Run

Enter ipconfig /flushdns

Are you Pinging with the actual www. address or the IP number? If the former, is there any Host file entry related to your web site?

Thank you both for your replies.
I treid again the ipconfig /flushdns but did not work before or now.

About the reply by linney:
I am pinging using the www. address, and about the second question, I apologizes but don't understand what do you mean by:If the former, is there any Host file entry related to your web site?

He means that if you are pinging using the to check your hosts file located in your Windows\system32\drivers\etc directory for entries that may be pointing to the old IP address of your domain.
