Hello,

I created a web site through IIS with new virtual directory and the port is 8080. When I click the defualt.html from Windows Exporer, it shows the page corretly. However, if I go to the page thru URL, (HR is the virtual directory name) it only displays the source code.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong?

Thank you very much.

Did you figure this out per chance? I'm having a similar problem whereas files that should download automatically actually display as text in the browser window.

Thanks

Ben

Yes. After 3 whole days. We tried delete the cookies and things worked well then.

Don't know if this is your situation. HOpe it helps.

This could be due to your file-type assiciations on the client machine. Check those out and see which programs are set to handle the file type in question.
