Voicemail Pro message cut off beginning of message

On 2 new installs with a IP500v2 with 1416 phones and VM Pro. Users with voicemail messages have the first couple seconds of the recorded message cut off. This also applies to recorded greetings, name recordings, and people leaving a message. This is on IP500v2 release 7.0.12 and vmpro 7.0.19 (the latest one) Any ideas, has anyone else experienced this?
 
have you tried vm dbug , or reinstalling the vmpro as a repair and reselect all the languages you want installing , debug is a good place to start though.

well as fun as that sounds, this is a bug, and I have customer going live and don't have time to document Avaya's bug on this one. Downgrading to VMPRO 7.0.17 and the problem disappears, and this isn't an isolated issue, can be recreated at will using 7.0.19.

So who wants to have fun and get the configs, level 9 traces, and vmprobug files to avaya for VMPro 7.0.19 issue of the beginning of recorded messages being cut off? I think this happened in an old 3.2 release...
 
It comes back once in a while on every major release i think :-)

Same kind of issue but with 6.1(20)... Q2 update
Clients reports they have been dropped (Workers doesn't have any voicemail recorded), some client are when transfer to the huntgroup.

The only error I found is on the ipo

222201112mS ERR: EXCEPTION ON MEDIA CONNECTION --- Error from protocol entity! LCSE --- unknown error type ..

but not sure if it's related to this problem

I will stay looking for other errors

Thanks for the info, have a customer recently upgraded having the same issue, will hold off on using 7.0.19 until fix is found.

hmmm... is there any issue with using VM Pro 7.0.17 with an IPO at 7.0.12? I've always tried to keep the IPO and VM Pro working at the same releases ( IPO 7.0.5 = vm ro 7.0.12 ).

I just did an install and the name recording cuts off the first 2-3 seconds.
tlpeter is right Avaya likes to put the same error in every once in a while just to make sure they have something else to easily fix in the next maint release

I am still waiting for a bug to be fixed I found back in 4.2, I re-report it with every release and in NPI and they go "Oh yes we have replicted that" and assign a CQ, it never get's fixed or appears in the caveats though :-)
