I just took over the Network Admin job and inherited a Mitel 3300 system. It is running Relese Level 6.0 SP1. I am trying to figure out how to get the call to cellphone option that the users can set up to work. I have attempted the following: setting up direct call to the 7 and 10 and 11 digit dial with and without 9 for outside access, I also setup a system speed call, verified that if dialed from an extension it rings the cell phone and none of these work. I have no idea where to go to troubleshoot this, and welcome any assistance i can get.

Please let me know what other information is needed in order to start troubleshooting this, and thank you all very much in advance for any assistance.

The voicemail needs:
[ul]
[li]Public trunk to public trunk connection allowed[/li]
[li]COR restrictions to allow call to be dialed[/li]
[li]Non-Verified Account code enabled[/li]
[/ul]

To effectively test, assign the COS and COR of a VM port to a standard phone.
Dial into the phone with an outside line
try to transfer the call to a cell phone

Where do i go to assign COR and COS?

More specifically, where do i go to see/change the COR and COS of the Voice mail ports? Looking in the Voicemail Ports menu item, i can change "Prime Directory Number", Interconnect Number, and Tenant Number.

The test to an extension is successful. I took my desk extension and applied a COS of 6 to all COS periods. had a call come in on the DID assigned, and was able to successfully transfer the call to another cell phone without an issue. Only thing i am not able to verify is where to check if Non-Verified Account code is enabled. I appreciate your help on this!

Non-Verified Account code is a class of service option

Verify that it is enabled in COS 6

Non-verified Account code is enabled. It was enabled prior to my checking on COS 6.

Then it should work

I'm sorry, but this starts off sounding like you want to call forward an extension to a cell phone, then I got lost. It got a little more complex from there. Thanks.

Always look out for the next tech. because one day it will be you!

Sorry for the confusion. In the Embedded Voice mail feature in the 3300 where you can put a personal contact number in to call by pressing 2 or whatever number you assign it to is what im talking about. I can assign it, but it only works on internal calls. If i forward it to an external call it just loops back into the beginning of the voice mail message for the user that was called. I just tested internal forwarding, and that works without issue.

@jrgood0852 - If you read the text of the first post, I can see your meaning but you've missed the context of the Title - "Voicemail forward to Cell Phone 3300" which makes things more clear.

I just remembered one other thing with the non-verified account code, sorry.

You must set the account code length to match the digit length of your VM port extensions. (in COS 6 again)

@kwbMitel - That is exactly what I needed. Thank you very much for your help! It now works as it should.
