Voicemail disapearing

WE have a system that you will leave a message in a box; when you check the messages you hear "you have 1 new message" the user hits "2" to get new messages and you hear " you have no new messages"

the voicemail is lost, it is not old, it is not in the account folder etc...

system was recently upgraded to 5.0(8)

does anyone have any ideas?

Is this a standard mailbox with no call flows in the collect start point, is this in a SCN with multiple VM servers active?

standard mailbox, no call flows built in the boxes..

this is a stand alone 500 v1 with digital sets
and a Dell R200 Server for voicemail running windows XP

Is this really 5.0.8 or 6.0.8 as that isn't the latest R5 out (was there a 5.0.8 ?)

getting software to the systems is a P.I.T.A. corp rules dont allow much in the way for downloads... so we have to send UPS usb keys to the site have them plug them in ... etc..


so just looking for suggestions before opting for an other upgrade...

I would start with deleting the folder of that user in the Accounts folder then restart the vm service to have it recreated.
