Hi

i am trying to Grant a user access to another voicemail box. I have added the Source number V211 (the other users extension) still no joy, any thoughts?

I have Ayava IP Office Manager 6.2 and Voice mail Pro client

The source number only works for groups, you need to create a shortcode for anonymous access to VM and they will need to enter extn and password :-)

if you ad VXXX ( the extn wanting to access the mailbox
to the source numbers of the mailbox's user then the password will not be required.

add V211 to user 240 & extn 211 will be able to listen to mailbox 240 without the need for a passcode.

you still need a short code to access it though

if you have a DDI configured with a destination of Voicemail and you add V<external No.> to the source numbers then calls to the Voicemail DDI from that number will be taken directly into the mailbox (useful if users have a Mobile they use to access VM)

Computers are like Air conditioners:-
Both stop working when you open Windows
