The system I'm transitioning off of (Nortel Option 11 w CallPilot) allowed the users to access their mailbox to define their 0 out destination. I know the voicemail tab on the IPO allows for this to be set up there. My question is, is there any way possible to set this from the mailbox itself by logging into it?

I don't think you can.
There may be an option if you create an option in voicemail to set it but you would have to create it and it would not be in the regular voicemail menu if it works.

Maybe I will have a peek later when I am back home to see if I can get it to work

Easy with custom programming in VM Pro, not achievable with embedded or by default :)

Does it have something to do with the Personal Options Token in VM Pro? I will try this later today.

Yes option 7 in the personal options menu or you can use a generic action with which you can change the setting as well
It is called "Edit voicemail Reception"

Ok, so I see that and thank you......my question now is, how does it flow to the regular VM retrieval? I set up a collect under the user and put a Personal Options Token, but how does it allow access to their messages?

I would setup a new shortcode and send that to a menu where people can setup their breakout as a single function rather than trying to incorporate that into their mailbox retrieval.

You can have something like *24 going to a menu asking them to enter the new 0 out for their mailbox and that would go to a generic option sending these digits to the "edit voicemail reception" of the callers mailbox. That prevents people from just using it and screwing it up as you are not asking for their extension number. If you want to get fancy you can even repeat the number for them before making the change.

I don't see the "Edit Voicemail Reception" option anywhere under the Generic token. I selected all options and didn't see it available to me anywhere. I looked under some other tokens but didn't see it there either. Where is this located?

or here for the generic one

Thanks Westi! Works great. I'm guessing in order to repeat it back before confirming, it would require a TTS license and a Speak Text Token containing text and $KEY?

no you can put $KEY into the entry prompts and it will read the numbers for you you can also record a little prompt before that so that it makes a bit more sense to the caller

Thanks for the star
