VMRPO Upgrade Failure

Upgraded 406 system from 3.1(65) to 4.1

Voice Mail is not working now. Installing on a Windows 2003 server.

I get the error "Unhandeled Exception Error occured in you application..."

There is a bunch of detail text to go along with the error; I will post below.

Anyone have this problem?

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

VMPRO Was upgraded to 4.1.27 per TechBull 90.

Have uninstalled and resintalled twice to no avail.
 
where are you seeing the traces above, Monitor, Voicemail Pro?
 
can you put the old version back on without issue?? I had issues with file corruption during one download from Avaya which caused the install to blow up, never really trouble shot it cause I could re-install the old so I just redownloaded and that worked fine.
 
I found that when I did not follow the instructions for upgrading to 4.1 that I was able to get things working.

Specifically on page 66 of TechBull 90 it says to backup and restore the registry using batch files on the CD. When I did NOT do that everythink worked OK.

Hope this thread saves a few grey hairs on someone else's head.
