VM to Email - Unrecognized authentication type

Hi guys, wondering if anyone can shed some light on the issue i'm having when setting up voicemail to email.

Our support team won't go any further than to say it's a server based issue, though the companies IT department that we're doing the work for insists that there's nothing they can change without knowing what needs to be changed from us.

Anyway, I've setup the voicemail server IP, port 25 and the Authetication (tried the using the tickbox below) and regardless of what i do i receive this message in monitor.

What could be the cause of this?

The system is on 8.042, with embedded voicemail.
server is running Exchange 2007.

1.- uncheck Server Requires Authentication
2.- Be sure Email from Address be a email address valid

If you are using Exchange try this:

http://www.ipofficehelp.com/HOWTO_EVM_Exchange2007.aspx

If not try this:

http://www.ipofficehelp.com/HOWTO_hMailServer.aspx

In either case the issue seems that your email server/provider requires a method of login that is not supported by the IP Office. Typically this would indicate that they want TLS/SSL and you are trying to send without those, because IP Office/Voicemail Pro do not support them.
