I do love this VM Pro product!!!

I'm trying without success to create a module to collect digits and send them to the display of a hunt group phone.
My module now is: menu ? >Generic $CP0 ..set CPxx $key > menu ?> Generic $CP1 ..set CPxx $key> Generic ..set CPxx $CP0$CP1 > Generic $key >transfer to 3333

I'm not that skilled in the advanced options of VM Pro so any assistance would be grateful.

Thanks very much

It's only dialtone!!!

What are you trying to achieve?

ACSS-SME,ACSS Avaya Aura Session Manager and System Manager,ACSS Avaya Scopia Solution,ACSS Avaya one-X UC Soft Clients,ACSS Avaya Session Border Controller, ACSS Avaya Aura Messaging,
ACSS Avaya Aura Call Center Elite, ACSS Avaya Aura CM and CM Messaging,ACIS Avaya Aura CM and CM Messaging, ACIS SME, ACIS Avaya CM 5.2.1

So you are trying to send the captured key presses to display on the phone?

Im not certain you can do that.

ACSS - SME
General Geek

User calls in and enters their pin code 23456 (during that time the digits are read back to them) the call then gets sent to a hunt group and 23456 is displayed on their set.

Im not even sure this is possible

So I can get it to read the digits back but the digits are not displayed on the huntgroup set. Maybe this isnt possible?
I was just trying to make life easier for the agent.

On the transfer box in vmpro > specific;

Try to enter $KEY or $CPx on the source or Description

· Source of transfer (displayed on phone)
The number to display on the destination telephone if internal. Type the required text directly or use the icon browse dots browse button to select the text that should be used including using the value of a call variable.

· Description (displayed on phone)
The text description to display on the destination telephone if internal. Type the required text directly or use the icon browse dots browse button to select the text that should be used including using the value of a call variable.

Is it a customer account number you want to display?

If so, I've made a similar module for a customer:

Send the numbers entered in an email (just before transfering) to an common email addr for the customer service. In the heading have the $CLI + $KEY.

The agent can ID the correct email by the CLI and then copy/paste the account number into the CRM or whatever they use.

Keep the $KEY in the transfer as well, in case email is delayed or down.

Kind regards

Gunnar

Bingo Bas it works!!!!

Thanks for the replies everyone
Gunnaro I'll keep that option in mind also.

OK so my module is stated above but in the Transfer box -specific-description I added my ($CP0$CP1$CP2 ) and its displayed on the phone.

If you need more detail I can provide it for future use ?

Now if AVAYA could only keep the CS1000 and integrate it with VM Pro :)

Thanks again
