Vectoring in PBX for access to Cisco Unity VM

I have a Cisco Call Manager and two 2 Prologix systems. Unity only allows for two connected systems, one being our Call Manager and the other is one of the Prologix PBXs.

I daisy chained the Prologixs so that everyone can get to voice mail but now I have a bottle neck.

Periodically, calls in the Prologix will get a busy signal when the call rolls to voice mail.

We are using a vector on the second Prologix to gain access to voice mail. Here is my question, can I set the vector to repeat instead of stop? Would this recycle calls through the vector and maybe relieve some of the busy signals? I'm not well versed in vectors and this was set up by a vendor.

Thanks.

The bottle neck is not created by the vector but from the number of connections between the Prologix and the Voice mail. You need to increase the number of connections between the Prologix and Voice mail so that you can have more users connected to voice mail at the same time. This means more channels for connections and possibly more ports on the voice mail...

I'm still learning the Cisco equipment so please correct me if I am wrong.

The Unity has 6 available jacks for (dual) analog lines giving me up to 12 connections at a given time and one digital line for signaling. One Prologix is programmed with these analog lines, the other prologix is directly connected to the first Prologix to gain access to those analog lines thus giving everyone voice mail access.

It is my understanding that 12 analog lines is the most that I can have since Unity only has that many available jacks. Is there an additional module that I can add to the Unity to give me more line? Since the Prologix uses a vector to run through the analog lines, I was hoping that I could repeat the vector continuously until an open line becomes available.
