User Appearance button over SCN

I have two systems - a primary office and a warehouse, they are both connected by SCN.

In the primary office there is a receptionist, and ideally would like to see the presence of the warehouse users on the MOD32.

I don't think i can add a user to the feature button from the other site, so would i just create the user locally on the office system and log them in over the SCN at the warehouse?

If i am thinking something stupid as i suspect please let me know!

Which version of IP office?

What type of stations are there on the warehouse? (digital, analog, IP, SIP)?

Are there trunks on the warehouse?

Thanks for the quick reply - they are 8.1.79 on both sites.

They are using H323 phones 1608-I at both the office (30 extensions) and warehouse (8 extensions).

They do have a backup trunk at the warehouse (in the event the internet goes down) but primarily all calls go over the SCN and out at the office.

User buttons work across SCN

The User buttons work, but the list in the drop down box when programming them only contains the users for the local system. You will need to enter the user name manually, enclosed in double quotes.

The users should also show in the drop down list, did on the last system I installed as an SCN.

the will show if you open BOTH systems up symaltaniously in SCN mode

if you open them individualy you will not get the options.

IPG - On 9.1 as long as the SCN is active at the time the config is opened you will see all users from all sites even if just opening the one config.
