Use IP Offfice aand Voicemail Pro to record complianced conversations

I am new in using the IP Office and Voicemail Pro Server applications. I would like to use IP Office to receive a call from a client, after getting the clients permission, conference over to another line, record the conversation in a wav format to be able to backup the conversations daily. Is this possible? How?

You don't have to conference over to another line. You can just setup a button on the phone for "callrecord". If you don't have the announcement turned off the voicemail will announce "Warning, this call is now being recorded." The recording will then be saved as a message in the person's voicemail box (which is a .wav on the server) and you could move them over that way.

You could also look to create a huntgroup, set the recording there and have it drop into the HG's voicemail box instead of the users's.

Lots of options on doing this really.

If you're (as implied) do this for compliance requirements then you need to look at adding ContactStore to the Voicemail Pro.

Voicemail Pro is primarily a messaging product and will do things like delete old messages during it housekeeping. ContactStore is intended for the long term storage of recordings.

And if you must absolutely guarantee recording and permanent archiving then you may need to be looking at third-party products used by dealer houses and legal firms.

Contact store is not a compliance compatable device in the USA. You will have to use third party if this is a true compliance issue.
