Hello
I was upgrading a system to version 9.1 from 9.0.
The system have a legacy carrier card carrying an PRI card from a former IP400 system.

I had a warning message during the upgrade that the legacy carrier card will not work after upgrading to version 9.1.
It is very strange that I could not find this in the technical bulettin for upgrading to 9.1 or maybe I didn't spot it.

Does anyone know if it would really stop working? I didn't take the risk to upgrade.

The PRI card doesn't work on R9.1
I tried it just to see what happens.
Card doesn't appear in manager.
On card, no PRI, can't program anything

Pretty sure Avaya isn't giving you empty threats on that warning screen and this info is plastered all over in 9.1 documentation. :)

Always read the releases GA notes first as it got the most information regarding changes.

modules:
 Phone 8/16/30
 DS 16/30
 DIGITAL S0x8 and DIGITAL S0x16
 Extension/VCM Carrier

They are always there on every release of the administrator software. The first release when something is no longer supported is usually the only one to list the now unsupported things. So in this instance it was the 9.1.0 release docs that stated it.

Please stop installing IP Office systems until you are correctly registered with Avaya & are downloading Firmware & updates from official locations.
