Upgrade CICS 4.1 restricted

Can I upgrade a CICS with restricted 4.1 software to 6.1 without loosing the programming?

I hope that I understand you correctly. I can remove the 4.1 software cartridge and insert the 6.1 cartridge, then power up.
No steps in between.

As curlycord said, yes this is a simple upgrade. Going to R7.1 would require a pit stop at R6.1 first, then you'd go to R7.1

Yes but I'm not sure sence it is RESTRICTED now how that comes into play during the upgrade. I know if you go from 4.1 unrestricted to 6.1 there is no problem just not sure about Restricted. Let us know what you find out if you do it.
