Upgrade 9.02 to 9.04 but System Not Rebooting

Used the upgrade wizard to perform an upgrade from 9.02 to 9.04. The files transfer, then the wizard says that it's rebooting. However, the system does not reboot and just hangs. Any suggestions?

I have seen this and a hardware replacement fixed it.

The strange part is that it still runs on 9.02

Until you pull the plug and plugging it back in.
