Unscreened transfer time

Hi,

When we use CT_Connect (CTI) to make a "unscreened transfer" the other party hears a ring-back and it takes about 1.5 to 2 seconds to do the transfer...

Is there a way to reduce this time? and of course not to have the client hear a ring back?

I would appreciate any help!

 
CT_Connect (CTI).. not a term i have used, try adding a # after the transfer to dn, might be the eod timer, after the inter-digit timer, adding the pause. i have that on xfer with sets that are cfxa, system doesn't excecute the xfer until it waits for last digit

CT Connect is dialogic/intel CTI Middleware...

I am using to make a call transfer using the CTI which connects to symposium MLSM service.

The issue here is while the transfer is happening, the other party hears a ring-back... what we want, is silence.
 
your not going to get silence from the switch, look elsewhere for it

you can modify the ftc, flexable tones and cadences, ld 57 to give a longer pause before the 1st ring back, that will modify that parm for all ring backs, i don't care for that, a ringback is the indication to the caller that the call is being processed, that or modify the app to wait 4 seconds before sending the second transfer command, doing a midofied supervised transfer. in that case the called number would have to answer on the 1st ring, or a ringback would be presented
