I have to install and test the sofware that we design and sell then install it for customers and train them. I install all this software first on my laptop and play with it. Well I install it as my user with admin rights and have never had any problems until a couple of days ago. I am not able to register any dlls now so I can't run our software that depends on that. I also loose my network connections if I get on someone else's system through PC Anywhere. My MIS person said that I have messed up my system by installing the software as a user with admin rights instead of the administrator and that I need to uninstall everything and reinstall as admin. Does this sound valid? I just don't see how that is the problem. What I did do just before this was install a credit card program that we are going to sell but other people have installed it and they aren't all messed up like I am.
