Twinning voicemail!

HellO!

I have a user, who has mobile twinning enabled. I have a twinning delay of 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, the call transfers to his mobile, and does not continue to ring on his office phone. Also, voicemail PRO never answers the call after the no answer timeout, his mobile voicemail does eventually answer it.

I have disabled the voicemail on his mobile, but that just makes it keep ringing.

What am i doing wrong?

are you using analog trunks?
when a twinned call is coneted to an analog trunk it is treated as answered (because there is no signaling available on analog tunks)
this means the VM will never get the call

Yes i am using analog trunks...so this wont be able to work for me?

It could also be the Cell carrier. I have seen where nextel shows a call as answered as soon as it starts to ring. it would make follow me stop working. Every call to the cell was seen as answered.

Hmm okay, its fairly easy to test, ill twin it with a mobile on a different carrier...

you can watch call status when you call one of the cell phones and see when the arrow goes green and points to the left and right like it is connected. I am not saying it is not the analog trunks but this may be part of it as well.

Its the trunks allraight, it doesnt work at all with the other carrier as well.

So what now? Any solution to this besides waiting for a easter european contry to be able to deliver digital lines??

Probably my only solution, but that would mean i would get a foreign number, because to my knowledge there are no SIP trunk providers in Ukraine. If you know one, please do share!

It does not matter where you are
As long as you have an internet connection you can get siptrunks
Search with google for sipproviders

Hi Tlpeter! Yeah, i know....but if i would like a ukrainian telephone number for my company, i cannot choose a foreign provider...cannot get ukranian numbers on sip lines from foreign providers! Or can i?
