trying to figure out how roll calls to a DN from a console

I need to make calls roll from my console to a callpilot DN after approx 30 sec. I have looked in my CDB, and tried changing my AODN, ATIM, etc. but nothing seems to work. The phone just rings and rings. On the other hand we can put the console in night mode, and it goes to the DN, etc

Where should I be looking to see what is going on?

Please, let me know if I can post any other info that might help me find this.

I am new to phones, so I am just starting to get an idea of how this stuff works. I appreciate any help you can give me!

Thanks,
Luke Lathrop

are your consoles 2250's?

post your att data, and how are the numbers getting to the console? dial 0, atdn from the route?

the console (2250s) are primarily reached by dialing a DN, 6300, but dialing 0 also calls the console--testing dialing 0 shows the same behavior as dialing the DN.

Here is me ATT_DATA from my cdb. The AODN:6399 is my callpilot DN that I want to forward to. It seems like I have tried other DN's there when I was initially testing, and it made no difference.

Code:
 ATT_DATA

  OPT AHA BBIN BIXA BLA

DNI IC1 XTG IDP ILF XBL

      FKA MWUD LOD

      REA SYD ATDA

  ATDN 0

  NCOS 7

  CWUP YES

  CWCL 2 6

  CWTM 8 20

  CWBZ YES YES

  MATT NO

  LFTN 007 0 00 12

  LFFD 6300

  RTIM 30 30 30

  ATIM 44

  AQTT 45

  AODN 6399

  SPVC 00

    SBLF NO

  RTSA RSAA

  SACP NO

  ABDN NO

  IRFR NO

  XRFR NO

  IDBZ NO

  PBUZ 02 10

  ICI 00 LD0

  ICI 01 LD1

  ICI 02 DL0

  ICI 04 LCT

  ICI 05 INT

  ICI 06

Please let me know if their is anything else that would help! I know that I must just be missing something small

try building a maxp 1 acd

any vacant dn... xxxx

ld 23
new
acd
0
xxxx
maxp 1
ncfw 6399

then put that new dn in as your aodn, might be the work around.. and make sure that you have a voice service dn for both 0 and 6300 in the mail, that must be there since it works at night, i assume your nit-1 is 6399?

I'll give it a try. I don't think we have any other acd's right now--everything is done through phantom numbers etc

nit-1 is 6399.

One thing is that this callpilot serves two sites--and the other site has it's own operator, etc. I am not sure what happens then in night mode when zero is called...I think I'll go ahead and add the mailbox, just for kicks.

Thanks,
Luke Lathrop

turns out I can't add a mailbox 0 to callpilot--a dn needs at least 4 digits according to it

I get a prompt: MWC after the DN in the instructions above

Code:
ld 23
ACD000
MEM AVAIL: (U/P): 1114587 USED U P: 152370 92914 TOT: 1359871
DISK RECS AVAIL: 368
ACD DNS AVAIL: 299 USED: 1 TOT: 300
REQ new
TYPE acd
CUST 0
ACDN 6679
MWC maxp 1SCH0765
MWC
SCH0765
MWC
TIM000 12:15 26/4

Thanks,

You don't need to add a mailbox for zero, just make an extra in the SDN table for 0 and apply the appropriate application (most likely an auto attendant of some sort).

Ok, I figured out what to do about the prompt, got the acd set up, and set it up in callpilot to go to the do the right thing. I changed the ATT_DATA AODN to the new number, call, and it just rings and rings.

Is their somewhere else that I should be looking? How can I tell the call is going where I think it is?

oh.. also you were right about the mailbox zero. It was already in the SDN table, of course.

Thanks,
Luke Lathrop

strange, i don't know if 0 (internal) responds to aodn, but i do know i've used it for my atdn without a problem. i will scan my cdb tomorrow to see if there is another place to turn overflow on.. i usually try a maxp 1 when i have an overfolw that's broke. in fact 0 in my switch is a maxp 1 acd ncfw to 6000 which is my atdn.. that gives me some extra options. your switch is programed right, i don't think you get the prompt unless you have the packages needed to make it work.. pkg 153, 163? brain freeze.. have you looked at the feature program manual, features and discriptions? that may have the hidden link

I have been flipping through them, but too much of it just ends up being greek to me.

I am reading through:
X11 features and services, book 1.
relevant section: Attendant Overflow Position pg 345
or maybe I should look at Attendant Alternative Answer page 215?

I see something about CAS? calls not activating the timer also calls transferred, recalled etc not being covered

Thanks,
Luke Lathrop

i'll do a little research to see if i can find the last straw, it would be nice if nortel wrote the manuals in english..

Is this problem occurring on Succession 4.5? Just curious as we just upgraded a customer where this was working fine, and after the upgrade, it stopped working.

I think I found it--it appears that you can't send them to a dn that is forwarded

from the book:
Code:
"Calls will not be rerouted to the Attendant Overflow Position DN when....
The AOP DN is in the Call Forward All Calls mode."

page 347 of X11 Features and Services book 1.

everything works if I send the calls to a regular, plain old DN. I swear I tried that already and it didn't work, but this time...!

now my problem is how do I present the call to my call pilot system, to get it to go into our voice menu if both attendant and overflow are busy?

Thanks,
Luke Lathrop
