Hello all, and Happy New Year. I've just set up a new Trunk Group for some ISDN PRIs that we have, and am now pointing our main 800 number to these trunks. I configured them as Mega800 in my Definity, and everything seemed to be working great. Until I heard that people in Canada and other International locations were getting a busy signal. I contacted my provider, wo put a trap on the number, and they said that the problem is in the PBX, and that I had to configure the trunk group as I800. When I made this change (in the middle of the night when call volume is lowest) I dialed our 800 number from my house (domestic) and got a busy signal. So I changed it back to mega800, until I can figure out what is wrong.

The trunks that used to carry the 800 traffic were not ISDN-PRI, and were set up as tie trunks. I have one other IDSN-PRI trunk group, which is set up as ISDN and tie. My next step is to change the mega800 to tie and see if that works. Unless you, oh wise ones, can offer me some advise!

On the Service/Feature screen of the trunk group form you can have multiple entries. Add mega800 and i800 to the form.

This is an old post and was never updated....

I'm having the exact same issue. I have the trunk service type set to mega800 and am trying to put i800 on the 3rd page, but it keeps telling me that it doesn't match the service type on the 1st page. Does the 1st page have to say CBC and then both services get entered on the 3rd?

Thanks!!!

I actually just figured this out myself, but figured I'd share the knowledge.

I changed the service type to CBC (call by call) on the first page and then added the Mega800 and i800 on the 3rd page under Incoming Call Handling. It requires that you Delete, Insert, Per Call CPN/BN or Night Service, so I entered 'none' under Per Call.
