How do you permanently assign an extension to a calling group? Currently I manually log the extension into the calling group (status 2) by pressing #764 and entering the group extension which happens to be 771. I would like to have this extension remain logged into this calling group under status 2 so that every time the power goes out or I have to reset the system I don't have to log the extension in every time. I am also aware that I can assign a button on the phone, but this does not allevieate my problem since this is a backup extension and no one directly mans this station and I still have to personally go log the extension back in.
I know this is probably a basic procedure, but I am running in circles in the manual and I'm hoping someone can help me out.
Thanks in advance,
Randy

I assume this is a legend, so you can go into system programming from the console (if it is a 20L) and go to Extensions > More > Group Calling > More > Group Type > Dial calling group ext. no. > Enter > pick your login type > Enter > Exit > Home.
Login type you want is Automatic Login.
Same procedure for WinSpm.
Hope this helps.

Bryan.
