Merlin Magix R4.0, Merlin Messaging R4.0. I have set up five trunks in a Call Queue Group. Can the caller that lands in the Call Queue transfer out of the Queue to an extension? How would you program it?

Transferring out of Call Queue with Merlin Magix

You can use "PROMPTED OVERFLOW".
In the announcement for the calling group, you have to specify something on the order of:
"Please wait for the next available agent.....To transfer to xyz press the POUND SIGN during this announcement.
That's how it's done.

Once you press the pound sign what do you dial after that. Can you dial and extension or do you have to dial *8 plus the extension?
You don't DIAL anything.
The destination is set in the OVERFLOW setting for the calling group you are trying to get out of.
