have a request from one of the users, being a hospital they would like to transfer calls from patients to 999.. at the moment we press 9 for any outside calls.. how can this be achieved?..
since you do not have an ext 999, where are they trying to send the call? you can't have ext 999 (or app) if ac1 is a 9. i am on site at a hospital and have request almost as insane..
i would find out where the operators want the call to end up, then build a spn 99 (if needed) pointed to a rlb with a dgt that handles that request
999 is for emergency services in UK.. changing ac1 code is not possible because its used hospital wide..
so staff would like an option to forward a call to 999 emergency services...
but unless you frl most phones off of that, any user that dials 999 will get the far end..
we do not allow 911 from guest phones.. it causes to many misdials.. we send those to security (via a dgt) we do send 9 911 to the cop shop,, spn 11, dgt insert 9 and send it to the locals
thank you guys, really appreciate this..
