I have a customer with 6 t7406 sets and 2 base units. I'm need to replace 1 set. I have assigned the proper handset ID#, but do not know the Security Code. Thanks

I don't think you need a SS that is entered on the first hand set.

Since I have 2 bases, The SS would have to be different.

Well cooks answer is the master so knowing the master you can change the ss code on the 2nd base.
I used to make the 2nd base 111111.

But also true is you would need to make the handset ss code 111111 but do not send it if it's the 2nd or 3rd handset on that base.

Usually I make my first base all 1's, and the second all 2's, then print a label and put it on the back of the base. It's saved me a lot of hassle when I've had to replace a handset.

It sounds like you need to reset the code on one of your bases?
