When a callen in the "home" area code attempts to call a local number say they dial 555-5555, the system is dialing that number in a different area code, not in the "home" area code....any pointers to put in in the correct direction??? this is a system wide issue......

"And this is an old system????

Check the NXX for the prefix in Ld 90 then check the RLI and DMI tables in Ld 86

look at the nxx in ld 90, that points to a rlb. in ld 86 if you print the rlb you will see a dgt table.. that inserts or deletes digits, yours may be set up to insert an area code.. if my home number is 555 1212, but in a remote area code, then i could take the nxx 555 and insert 1803, that would allow me to dial my home as a local, but later if the 555 was added as a local, no one could dial it
