Incoming trunk caller Id and ext analog phone caller id

What kind of trunking? Analog Potts, ISDN PRI?
Analog trunks can only be loop start for incoming caller ID and your CO provider must be sending the FSK signal.
ISDN PRI trunks receive caller ID as long as your provider has not restricted it.
In either case no system programming is required.
Station Application
Single Line Telephones with CLI display function (CLI based on FSK: ETSI EN300 659)
Operating Procedure
No manual operation is required.
Analog trunks can only be loop start for incoming caller ID and your CO provider must be sending the FSK signal.
ISDN PRI trunks receive caller ID as long as your provider has not restricted it.
