Subtraction in Excel

Okay - Here is total cluelessness...

I can add cells with SUM

How do I subtract?

(i feel so ashamed)

to add:
enter this in the cells:
=sum(A1+B1)
=B1-A1 ** Infact you can write =SUM(B1-A1)
