Is it possible to force changes to be applied whilst people are picking up voicemails or held in queue's etc?

I don't want to disconnect callers but I don't want to wait all day to make a change either.

Is there anyway round it?

Restarting the VM services wouldn't disconnect anyone in queue but would cut off anyone checking or leaving a voicemail message.

Really? That's new to me.

I'll go test that theory.

Thanks!

Queued callers just wouldn't hear the prompts until VM were back online.

Excellent, it only took a couple of seconds to restart the service and my changes have gone live.

That solves it for me.

Thanks for your help!
