Hi,
I have an ATX computer with a Gigabyte GA6BX7+ motherboard. Everything was working fine until a few months ago. Since then when ever I shutdown my computer I get orange vertical lines on the monitor instead of it switching off. I have tried different Video Card, Monitor, and PCI Slot all off which show the same effect. It is almost like something isn?t getting the signal to switch off.
Also, we have had hot weather which cased my computer to switch it self off for no reason which I have put down to overheating as this didn?t happen if I removed the side panel. Now that it has cooled down my computer has stop switching it self off but starts to beep at me after it has been on a while. I have been through the BIOS and can?t find anything which causes an alarm to sound. The beeps even happen whilst the computer is booting if I restart it.
Any ideas?
Mark
