Does anyone know the command to reset spectrum wallboards while in UNIX on the cms(R3v6). I have used the reset port command on the CMSADM menu but the thing never works.

It seems to happen when I do a full backup and a reboot, the wallboards just lock up.

Many thanks

Jason

on early versions of wallboard this was a common problem reinstall using latest level but only once as what happens is if the software is installed twice on a reboot the boot up creates 2 files and the wallboards lock up look for the directory walld if memory serves me right

The commands you need are:

Type; cd /export/home/pserv/walld
Type; pwd This confirms you are in the correct directory
Type; ./fixport

Enter y to continue,
When prompted, enter the annex box number (in this case 2)
When prompted, enter the port number (in this case 8)

Type; ./fixmem1
