Softconsole is suddenly not displaying caller ID, either internal extensions or outside callers. I noticed when I restart console and click "user list" it says "unable to connect to (ip address)". If I click the browse icon below for IPOFFICE it does find the ip office. Now, I do have connectivity and the softconsole will show calls but just not able to see caller id and the park keys are also shaded out. I have another softconsole that works fine and is configured the same. Any thoughts? This is a release 6 IPO and the softconsole is 4.2.18

Oh and it looks like I'm not getting status updates in my BLF either. It is also shaded out.

Usually means an update has restarted windows firewall or your firewall has decided it doesn't like it :)

It's not the firewall. Any other thoughts? The softconsole logs in so I have connectivity but what provides the user list or the caller id info?

What windows OS do you have?

Look for the SoftConsole.log in C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\SoftConsole

Windows 7. The log shows tftp errors. It's been working on that OS for at least a year. Also the other soft console works fine on same OS

It gets the user list via TFTP, the BLF updates are broadcast over another port, something is blocking them on that pc or the programme has become corrupt, try a re install, just back the profile up so you don't need to reprogramme the layout etc :)

Only Windows 7 Professional/Ultimate are supported.

Also you might try to enable tftp in Win7 mostly its not needed, see link below.

Thanks to both! I'll look closer at the tftp ports this morning and give an update later.
