smtp for comcast business

does anyone know the settings to get vm to email working with Comcast Business class email? I have been trying all day. I have an IPO R9.1.0 embedded VM SMTP settings go to smtp.w14a.comcast.net tried both 587 and 25. I cannot telnet into the server as when I do it disconnects when I start to type either helo or ehlo.

I looks regional for these just tried this SMTP server and it will not allow the email user as valid. Love Comcast NOT.

Ever get this working? I have a customer that doesn't have a mail server. They just use Comcast email. Would like to get this working for VM to Email.

No Comcast is a PITA to work with on this as well. Still beating my head against the wall.

just to let you know it is dependent on the server you get from Comcast, I have installed this on a residential service for a business with no problem.

I use gmail for those that don't have other options.

I had this set up but Gmail start to block access for violating the rules of their email program. All we were doing is sending emails to other office users.
