Just thought I would share an issue we had this afternoon, where on the back of a customers voicemail server going down all but one user were barred on outbound SIP calls and inbound SIP calls were giving busy tone and monitor reporting "busy here".
After hours of diagnostics today (and a previous site visit some weeks ago where we rebuilt the whole system because of the same issue) it turns out that it was the fact the all users apart from the one working were set to mandatory call recording. As the voicemail server was down it for some reason caused all SIP calls to fail! Not sure where the logic is in that and wonder if it is a bug?
Feeling relieved to have got to the bottom of that one and hope this saves someone else a few hours!!
