I am at the point that I need to tell the Audix which ports to look at. What type of stations do I use adx8D or adx16a and adx16d. Then do I put the port address that the Aduix is in eg. 01a0901 for the first one and 01a0902 for the second. If I do that then on page five of the station page it ask to put in some more buttons?? Working from home Look!!! New Bottons
Same amount of time!

Thanks All Phoneman2

You have to administer all the 12 ports despite the RTU bought by the customer. First administer the 12 voice ports, give them 10 call-appearances. For station 1 to 4 and 12 put the Restrict Last Appearance to Y. Name the stations AUDIX for every port except for port 11 call this one AUDIX TRANSFER. Put the field Restrict Last Appearance for ports 5 to 11 to N, and bridge button 10 for these station to button 10 of station 12.
From version 7 and higher you can select the type ADX16D, older systems require 7405D.
In the COS for the Voice Ports only the fields Call Fwd-All Calls en Data Privacy must be set to Y all the other fields must be put to N.
For the ports you choose 01A09xx where xx is the number of the voice port.
On page 4 of your station program the buttons:
1: lwc-store
2: lwc-cancel
3: aux-work RC: GRP:99 (where 99 is the voicemail huntgroup)

On page 5 program
1: normal
2: inspect
3: date-time
4: directory
5: cov-msg-rt
6: next
7: delete-msg

Maybe not all the buttons are neccesary but this is a standard we norally use for the voiceports.

In the huntgroup put the queue-length to the same value of the RTU, in your case 4. The members for the huntgroup will be Voice Port 1 to 4.
Give all the voiceports a coverage path to the Audix Huntgroup.

Hope this was clear enough....

John

Thanks John
I did everything but get Button 10 from ports 5-11 to Button 10 on port 12. The bridge just allowed one ext??
Do I bridge port 5 to port 6 and then port 6 to port 7?? Look!!! New Buttons
Same amount of time!

Thanks All Phoneman2

When I call my hunt-group ext. I get a busy signal. I did a busy and then a rel. and now the ports are isi. Look!!! New Buttons
Same amount of time!

Thanks All Phoneman2

You have to bridge button 10 of the stations (voice ports) 5 to 11 to button 10 of your last station.
For example, if you have programmed your voice ports 801 to 812, you have to bridge the tenth button of station 805 to 811 to the tenth button of station 812.
So this how your button assignment will look like for your station 805 to 811:

BUTTON ASSIGNMENTS
1: call-appr 6: call-appr
2: call-appr 7: call-appr
3: call-appr 8: call-appr
4: call-appr 9: call-appr
5: call-appr 10: brdg-appr Btn:10 Ext:812

This is the COR we set up for our Audix:

I'm (We're)getting so close. I can set up a voice mail box and record my name and stuff.....but when I dial that ext it doesn't roll into voice mail. I just get ring no answer. Look!!! New Buttons
Same amount of time!

Thanks All Phoneman2

JZon one more time. We get this thing working and you get a star and I get a working Voice Mail. Look!!! New Buttons
Same amount of time!

Thanks All Phoneman2

Hmmmm.... Stars...
What number do you dial? The extension of the voicemail huntgroup or one of the programmed members. I don't think this is the problem because you were already able to record your name.

We have set up a seperate coverage path to the voicemail huntgroup that is set to cover all calls. This cov. path we put at the extensions we programmed for the voice ports.

You should set up your station itself, if your meant that one dialed, to also have a coverage path to the voicemail hunt (another one than previously described). Or put the voicemail hunt as the last point in your coverage path.

If it was something else please let me know..

John

Maybe two stars...

Maybe it is an misinterpretation with the naming of your voiceports. I will show you how ours is set-up:

display hunt-group 99 Page 3 of 10

As you can see we used all our ports. In the naming we used an @ so it is not visible in the Directory.

Try this, everything else looks okay..

Regards

John

Both the DASLIM and the DEFAUD are very translations specific. If the hunt group 99 is what you using, it is not correct. The @ can not be used. Only the port purchased are put into the hunt group. Also page 2 of the hunt form must have none and none in those fields. The set up mentioned by JZON is what the original set up was. T-4 had changed that 2 years ago to make the first 11 stations with a brdg-appr on botton ten of the last station. This was to solve MWI problems that can start to occur down the road. Also, each of the 12 stations administered in the switch have to have a coverage path, one that has inside/outside stroked y, all other fields will be no. Point 1 is h99. The COS of these stations is also very specific, you have to have call-fwd all call, and data privacy stroked y, all other fields must be no with the exception of restrict call forward off net.
Any changes on the switch side to these 12 stations or the hunt or anything associated with the audix must be updated to the audix by running and "audit switch-translation". If you busy a port in the daslim, after you feel the set up is correct, and test is long, and it passes, generally translations are good. If it fails, it will say, "see admin log" and although the admin log will point out some problems , it is generally vague, but does indicate improper setup. Make sure you run the audit switch names to, and also fill out the transfer dialplan in the daslim.
