I have gone through all the threads and help files in VM PRO and IP Office Manager 6.2 (11). IP Office was dumped on me and I have no support for it.

I need to setup a conference bridge that will allow more than 3 callers. I cannot figure out how to do this. I know how to create extensions.

I see reference to Meet Me but I cannot tell if I have this or not. Since I can't locate anything for Meet Me, I would guess no. I know we do NOT have a Conference Center license.

I just need to know how to configure a number to call into for conferencing and how to make it work. PIN Code not necessary. I don't even care about wave files stating "you are now entering into conference". Just a basic number that allows more than 3 people to talk on.

Can anyone assist me with basic instructions?

Thank you so much!

create a short code, say;

Code = 500
Number = 500
Action = Conference meet me

now you can

a) Dial 500 internally
b) Transfer callers to 500
c) point a DD to 500

all new members entering the conference room will hear "beep beep"

Job done.

If you want more security, add a VM pro front end for PIN access etc, but transfer to the same 500 conference room

If you need more rooms, just create more shortcodes.

If you only have analog trunks, you will still only be able to conference 2 outside lines. 5 party total:

The extension intitiating the conference is 1 party
2 outside analog lines would be partys 2 and 3
You could add on up to two more inside users for a total of 5.

If you need more outside (external) parties on the conference, you need a T-1 trunk to be able to ad-hoc or use conference meet me to allow more than two external parties per conf.

So far the Short Code is working. I have to try to get external callers to dial in and find out if we can have more than 2. We have SIP Trunking.

I really appreciate this information and can't believe how easy it was so far. Thank you so very much!
