Hi
I have a 3.1 SES server that is teamed with an 8300.
We are changing IP addressing on our network.
I've already changed everything on the 8300 and it is up and running, but I can't figure out how to change the IP address of our 8500B based SES server.
THanks

If it's like AES, then you would run "netconfig" from the linux prompt...

Mrjedi, thanks for your help. It worked. It must've been a tough question, since nobody else had an answer.
One guy from a different forum tried to help me and that's it.
Thanks again.

Mitch627, I've tried netconfig, but it didn't change the address. After the reboot the address was still the same.

Depending on moving out of the subnet or network you may need to change the default GW as well...

View
cat /etc/sysconfig/network

Add
route add default gw xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx eth0

initial_setup menu had a default gateway field.
I made all my changes in that menu.
