This isn't a necessity - just a preference, but does anyone know a way to add sub-folders to the SendTo menu in Windows Vista?
I just assumed it was the same as in XP, but apparently not. In XP, if you add a folder under the "SendTo" folder, and put shortcuts in that folder, you've automatically created a subfolder for the SendTo menu. That worked great for me in the past when I took the time to do it.
Now, however, in Vista, if you put a folder under the "SendTo" folder, you'll end up just sending whatever to that folder, and that is NOT what most any person would want to do. Sure, there may be one out there, but in general, I would think that's not the case.
Any thoughts on how to do this - even if it requires a 3rd party program?
BTW, here is one article written up no how to access the "SendTo" folder:
I can't seem to find any info about how to use subfolders. It may just flat out not be possible with Vista, but I hope that's not the case.
